DEMI WEBSTER

Cosmetic Consumer is the first piece of artwork Demi produced in response to the topic of consumerism.

This piece consists of six MDF tiles that all have an image of a nail varnish bottle painted onto them. All of the bottles are the same apart from the colours that are used. Each bottle is a different colour which symbolises the vast amount of colours that are used in the cosmetic industry.

The six paintings symbolise the production lines that are existent in the beauty industry and the mass production of these items.
